Mélanie Doutey

Mélanie Doutey (born November 22 1978, in Paris, France) is a French actress, and the daughter of director and producer, Alain Doutey, and of actress Arielle Séménoff. Mélanie Doutey is best known for her role in Claude Chabrol's La Fleur du Mal, which also starred Nathalie Baye, and El Lobo, the true story of a mole within the violent Basque separatist organisation ETA. She also made a cameo in singer Calogero's video for En Apesanteur.

In 2006, she was nominated for a César Award as the most promising Actress for her performance in Il ne faut jurer de rien!, a cinematographic adaptation of an Alfred de Musset's play.
