Marc Dorcel is a French producer of pornographic films who founded the company Video Marc Dorcel. Besides producing films by himself, he also produces films in partnership with people like Michel Ricaud and Michel Barny. Dorcel is perhaps best known for the long-running Pornochic film series, featuring some of Europe's hottest adult film stars.
Dorcel's projects, often filmed in exotic European locations, are known for consistently high production values; Dorcel's hardcore pornographic films are characterized by a degree of artfulness and attention to detail.
During May 2009, Dorcel announced he was 'soon to retire' from the pornography industry, but did not mention a date. He claimed that the industry was fun to work in, but did not provide him with the life fulfillment he was looking for.

Distribution deals
The companies films are distributed in the U.S. by Wicked Pictures.1
On March 1, 2006, Dorcel launched Dorcel TV, a cable and satellite service broadcasting adult films. 2 Dorcel TV is also available online. Video Marc Dorcel has also expanded to include a range of gay pornographic content.
In August 2008, Private Media Group announced it has established an alliance with Video Marc Dorcel to collaborate in the home video market. The collaboration starts with a three year DVD distribution agreement for France and going forward it is expected that Private and Marc Dorcel will explore additional opportunities in other territories. It is also expected that Private and Marc Dorcel will join forces on distribution platforms including Internet and IPTV/VOD in both France and across the EU. 3

Actresses
Melissa Lauren has starred in several Dorcel films, and in 2004 Priscila Sol signed an exclusive performance contract with the company.1
